Stephen Butler is a London-based editorial, events and documentary photographer with over 3 decades of experience working in Britain and around the world.
His career has taken him from royal tours, major news and political events to film sets, television productions, red carpets and international entertainment assignments.
Over three decades he has photographed some of the world's most recognisable figures, while also working on assignments for organisations including the BBC and BAFTA. His work has ranged from highly controlled official events to unpredictable situations where access, timing and experience are everything.
Today his work focuses on editorial, documentary, events and commissioned photography, bringing the same instinct for capturing the decisive moment that has defined his career.
Member of the British Press Photographers' Association (BPPA) and holder of a UK Press Card.
